FaceBrushing my Life

Mohan Sawhney was one of my lecturers when I was at Kellogg School of Management. He spoke great sense then and hasn’t stopped since.

In one of his recent blog posts about social media and how authentic our profiles are he said,

How many profile pictures show us in our pajamas [sic] or having a bad hair day? How many posts on Facebook talk about our fears, foibles and follies? How many dark and depressing thoughts do we share with our friends?  How many moments of loneliness and ennui do we expose to the world?

Read Mohan’s full post. Then consider this: what damage are we creating by so many false impressions? Does it matter?
