Kevin Harrington is Managing Director of Gx, the widest reaching emerging payments and prepaid industry organisation in the world with a membership that spans four continents. Kevin’s mission is to ensure that all sectors of the economy understand and exploit the massive potential of new payment technologies and prepaid solutions to solve business and consumer problems, or just make life better and simpler. One of the strangest facts about him is that he’s the 30th great-grandson of William the Conqueror, which perhaps has some relevance to his current role.
Kevin is also the Managing Director of the Emerging Payments Awards and the Prepaid Awards as well as COO of Global Legal Exchange, a specialist legal service for the payments industry.
With previous business experience as Global Marketing Director with BBC Worldwide and a senior manager with Sony, Kevin has a broad view of the commercial and consumer world.
