BMW graffiti

BMW-635d-graffitiThe next time your shiny white BMW gets covered in graffiti I suggest you thank Sytner BMW.

This fine example of a new BMW 635d was at the Big Day Out at South Hill Park in Bracknell this weekend. For some reason, best known to Sytner, they were inviting and allowing everyone to write all over their car (and a Mini that was also there).

I’m really not sure the artwork being applied to the car improved the brand image of Sytner or BMW. One thing is clear though; a number of locals were introduced to a new way to show their appreciation of BMWs.

KFC and the internet

KFC

KFC

Everywhere you go people invite you to visit their website. Often you wonder why on getting there.

I was very surprised today to note that the URL http://www.kfc.co.uk/ was not visible, to me, anywhere in the Bracknell KFC. Is this good or bad marketing?
Mind you, aside from the store finder, there is not a lot of real use on the site. The ‘charity’ section was report on an October 2007 event. Where are the competitions and games? That’s all at http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk/.
Of course I was there at the request of the children. But I did have to enjoy a Zinger while I was waiting for them!
