Physical books are cheaper on Amazon

Amazon Price

Kindle $16.17
Paperback:
Amazon $14.48

It doesn’t feel right to me. I ended up not buying it at all as I felt cheated. This was the one of the titles I was looking at: http://www.amazon.com/My-Evernote-Katherine-Murray/dp/0789749262/ref=pd_sim_b_1

Amazon Kindle e-book downloads outsell paperbacks

Wow, what a great headline. And if the numbers are all kosher it is an amazing take-off for Kindle.

Amazon has announced that in the US it sold more e-books for its Kindle device than it sold paperback books in the last three months of 2010.

I wonder if the numbers are distorted by free book downloads that come with the app?

An interesting thing about Kindle is that most people seem to think you have to have the hardware. In fact you can download the Kindle reader to an iPhone, and iPad and even an Android phone.
