London 2012 apology over airbrushed HMS Belfast poster

Now I can use Photoshop; a  fine piece of software it is as well. But I’m afraid that accidentally airbrushing out  a Royal Navy cruiser is not something I’ve managed before.

I would love to know the ‘process’ that removed it from the London 2012 Olympics poster.

A London 2012 spokesman said: “HMS Belfast was unfortunately excluded from one of the seven adverts for the London 2012 Festival.

“We are very sorry about this – it was a simple mistake in the advertising production process, and we apologise if this mistake has caused offence.
