After a frustrating hour of looking for timers on Google, I gave up and made one for myself. To save you the same frustration I provide my file here for you to use free of charge. It was made in Apple Keynote and I’ve to a PowerPoint version as well.
I used this timer in training session where delegates where set a 1-minute challenge.
Note: Initially the timer decreases in 10″ intervals and then 1″ intervals from 10 to 1.

A timer is a specialised type of clock used for measuring specific time intervals. Timers can be categorised into two main types. A timer that counts upwards from zero for measuring elapsed time is often called a stopwatch, while a device that counts down from a specified time interval is more usually called a timer. A simple example of this type is an hourglass. Working method timers have two main groups: Hardware and Software timers.
Most timers give an indication that the time interval that had been set has expired.
