I’m Not a Morning Person

I’ve known for a long time that I’m not really a morning person.

My completely honest CV would declare that my interests include sleeping. I think I need the t-shirt above to forewarn people.

Self-awareness is an attribute that I’m working on. I was planning a speech recently that required me to ask two friends what their first impressions of me were. The answers made me smile and have contributed to my cause:

Knowledgable and approachable and tall.

The first time I saw you, you were sitting in an office chair with your feet up on the desk staring at a copy of Marketing Week. So, not entirely positive then. However, I soon discovered that you were ferociously intelligent and therefore someone I could learn from. Though, the fact that you are still researching tonight’s presentation indicates some facets of my initial impression accurate.
