The Reduced Apple Announcements

Like the Reduced Shakespeare Company, Mashable has edited down an interminably long announcement to just 90′. Well done…and it really is as simple as this.

Despite the lengthy live announcement and live performance from U2, the Apple share price dropped after the announcement. See the chart below.

What was interesting for me was that the share price matched my reaction:

• iPhone 6 – okay, but bigger
• I love the Apple Pay feature, this could be useful
• Apple Watch – well the straps look a bit basic, the face is large and it’s not available until next year
• U2 – not everyone likes them and that includes me and the scripted ‘spontaneous’ conversation was dreadful

As ever, Apple will move forward positively I’m sure. And in reality, when I see an iPhone 6 I’ll probably want one.
